Friends of Monze (FoM) works through a strong partnership with Zambia Women and Girls Foundation (ZaWGF) a registered Non-Government Organisation based in Monze, Zambia.
The organisations are made up of a number of skilled people.

I am a retired Government Civil Servant, I worked under the Ministry of Agriculture in the Department of Fisheries. My last position in the Government was Fisheries Development Officer.
I worked with GTZ which channels international aid from the Federal German Government to developing countries. I also worked with Aquaculture for Local Communities in improving nutrition in the rural areas of Zambia by stocking and restocking of small water bodies in rural communities
Fred Mwiiya, Board member ZaWGF
A qualified teacher, Fred Mwiiya was appointed District Education Board Secretary (DEBS) for Livingstone and later for Siavonga. He retired from Ministry of Education.
In 2015 he was appointed Principal at Brima College of Education in Monze. The college offers a Secondary Teachers' Dimploma

Qualified in community development, social work and a trained nurse.
Raphael Hachalema, Board member ZaWGF
Diploma in General Agriculture and a Diploma in Poultry Husbandry.
Previously worked as a training officer at Zambia College of Agriculture. He is ideally qualified to provide training in sustainable agriculture and tree growing for schools and communities

I hold an advanced diploma level six certificate, in computing and information systems from Kasiya Business and Secretarial College; I have a certificate in teaching methodology from Technical Vocational and Teachers College. I am a qualified teacher for computer studies.

Gardening and Hygiene trainer for ZaWGF
Secretary Chisikili Support Group and permaculture garden. Warren previously worked as a Peer Educator at Monze Mission Hospital. He recently qualified as a teacher. Trains groups in permaculture hygiene and village savings (like a credit union).
Agnes Kafunga, Board member ZaWGF
Trainer in women's health issues, HIV/AIDS, menstrual hygiene management.
She previously worked as a Peer Educator at Monze Mission Hospital, and she is a qualified teacher.
Colin Venters, Board member ZaWGF
Apprentice electrician from 15-21 years then a Spark for the next 5 years. 1986-1988 VSO volunteer in Community Development in Monze West. 30 yrs experience in Community Education, in Glasgow and Edinburgh, including 11yrs Home School Partnership in South Lanarkshire. Retired now living in Monze I enjoy being a volunteer.
